Booking Process
Planning Your Session
Contact me to discuss your newborn session. A small deposit will reserve your spot so we can capture your baby’s earliest days. We’ll chat about your vision, preferred style, and any special shots or props. Once booked, I’ll send a short questionnaire to get to know you and your family better.
Session Day
Whether in the Melton studio or in your own home, sessions are calm and comforting for your baby. Gentle posing techniques are used, with plenty of time for feeding, changing, and soothing. Relax and enjoy the moment while capturing stunning photos to treasure forever.
After your session
Each image is carefully edited to enhance its natural beauty and create a timeless look. A gallery of 30 to 50 images will be provided for you to choose your final photos. Digital downloads are included based on your package, with the option to purchase prints or additional images.
When should I book my newborn session?
I recommend booking your session during your pregnancy, in your second or third trimester to secure your preferred date. If your baby arrives earlier or later than expected, we’ll adjust the timing to fit your needs. The best time for a newborn session is within the first 5-14 days after birth. During this period, babies are sleepiest, making it safer and easier to achieve those sweet, curled-up poses.
